Santorini Residential Areas

The majority of the residential areas of Santorini were mapped using air and ground surveying. In cooperation with the Civil Aviation Authority, low-altitude flights were operated with an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(UAV), capturing thousands of high resolution aerial photographs.

After proper processing, a three-dimensional pointcloud, a Digital Surface Model(DSM) as well as a high resolution orthomosaic with accuracy of 2-3cm were produced.
