We just acquired a new airborne LIDAR system the AlphaAIR 450 capable of capturing 720.000 pts/s. The built-in 26 MP high resolution camera with FOV 70.4° x 4.5° provides complete point cloud coverage by RGB colorization while produces images of high spatial resolution. With advanced calibration and point cloud optimization technology, the thickness (range noise) of the point cloud is only 30% compared to similar products, which effectively improves the precision of the collected data.
The AA450 LIDAR scanner is suitable for the most challenging geological conditions, such as forested areas, capturing accurately and precisely data in areas that traditionally required ground surveys. Combining the LIDAR system with the new UAV Matrice 300 RTK, the speed and the accuracy of the survey process have been increased.
