Gallikos River

For the purposes of surveying the river Gallikos from Nea Santa to river delta, an area of 33klm x ≈ 600m = 20km2, a survey was made through technological advancement. A combination of ground and aerial surveying was performed using UAV and GNSS receivers.

Ground Control Points (GCPs) were placed along the entire required length and width using GNSS receivers. Successive flights were performed using the DJI UAV Phantom 4 RTK and eBee X RTK UAV to capture aerial photographs.

From the solutions of all blocks, photogrammetric products were produced. More specifically a real texture 3D Point Cloud, a DSM (Digital Surface Model) and an Orthomosaic with a > 3cm spatial analysis. Finally, the reports with all the errors and static data were exported.
